Big Daddy is known as the hottest cover band on the scene today. Founder and lead vocalist Mark Cassella, being a seasoned studio vocalist singing with some of the top musicians in New Jersey, began performing one-man shows under the name “Big Daddy.” As his popularity grew, it became apparent that he needed to expand.

It was evident, after having played with drummer Ron Italiano in the successful cover rock band The Rugburnz, that no other drummer would do and he quickly called upon his talents. The search for a lead guitarist began.

Lead guitarist Dennis Kimak’s incredible playing and strong backing vocals, refined with his original band Quick Kill Formula and popular cover band Pushing Daisies, were unmatched and we knew that he was the obvious choice for Big Daddy.

Bass player Claudio Derme’s killer playing and backing vocals, perfected while playing with the accomplished cover band Tequila Mockingbird, was acquired to complete the Big Daddy sound. This is a group of talented and professional musicians, who have been performing extensively along the East Coast for the past five years. Big Daddy is the ultimate cover band for any occasion.
